Head of Investment Banking
Mohamed Elakhdar is the Managing Director and Head of Investment Banking at Beltone Financial, where he provides advisory services for a full range of transactions, including mergers, sales, acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, spin-offs, divestitures, and other restructurings. He brings over fifteen years of experience across various industries including healthcare, energy, transportation, aerospace & defense, consumer products, financial services, telecom, oil & gas, construction, and building materials. Notable transactions include the private placement of a minority stake in Ibn Sina Pharma to the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), the sale of Al Shorouk Hospital to Cleopatra Hospital Group, the merger of Groupe Seb Egypt and Zahran Group, and the Initial Public Offerings of MM Group for Industry and Trade (MTI), Ibn Sina Pharma, and Sarwa Capital on the Egyptian Exchange.
Prior to joining Beltone, he spent over six years as a strategy and management consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton in Washington D.C and Abu Dhabi where he led client engagement activities advising governments and major corporations on strategic transformation initiatives worldwide.
Mr. Elakhdar holds a B.S in Engineering from the American University in Cairo (AUC) and an M.S in Finance, summa cum laude, from The George Washington University School of Business. He also completed the Executive Leadership Program at the MIT Sloan School of Management. Show More

Mohamed El-Samman joined Beltone Investment Banking in June 2018, currently holding the post of Director.
El-Samman brings over fourteen years of diverse banking experience with a track record of numerous transactions including M&As, Debt Advisory, Equity Capital Markets, and Direct Investments. El-Samman served on the board of several companies including Misr Qena Cement, ASEC and Egyptian Life Takaful. Prior to joining Beltone, he started his career with HSBC Corporate Banking and Investment Banking divisions, and then joined the founding team of Al-Ahly Capital Holding, where he held an executive director role; He also served as a Deputy CEO of Al Ahly Medical Services Company. His track record includes the portfolio securitization for Corplease and NUCA, France Telecom’s mandatory offer for Mobinil, Misr Cement Qena’s leveraged buyout of ASEC Cement, the acquisition of Al Mokattam Specialized Hospital and establishing of ETHYDCO petrochemicals complex.
