Tarek Elalaily
Mr. Tarek Elalaily joined Beltone Asset Management as the Head of Fixed Income and Money Markets. He began his career as a market risk consultant at Arthur Andersen New York. Clients included JP Morgan, where he operated in the credit portfolio group and a leading monoline insurer where he assessed the risk profile of wrapping senior debt tranches. He also worked on the sell and buy-side at Bank of New York, HSBC Securities and most recently Ellington Management in Greenwich, CT where he valued and analyzed structured finance products and was involved in investor relations and capital raising. He has extensive experience across fixed income and structured credit including CMOs, corporate bonds, credit and interest rate derivatives.
He graduated from George Mason University with a B.S. in finance. He is also a CFA charterholder and an active member of the NYSSA. While to date he has spent his entire decade of professional life in New York he has also lived in Europe and the Middle East.
