Shoukry Bidair
Mr. Bidair has been with Beltone Investment Banking since April 2010. Prior to joining Beltone, he was principal with Sphinx Private Equity Management (Sphinx), a subsidiary of Citadel Capital focused on medium-sized buyout transactions. His focus at Sphinx was on "Sphinx Turnaround" a private equity investment vehicle focused on turnaround transactions in Egypt. The fund included notable investors such as The International Finance Corporation (IFC), European Investment Bank, Swiss Investment Fund for Emerging Markets (SIFEM) and Citadel Capital.
Prior to joining Sphinx, Shokry spent 8 years with Commercial International Bank (CIB) in various roles including Private Equity, Corporate Banking, Problem Loans and Investor Relations. His last assignment at CIB was with Haykala Investment Managers (Haykala) where he was Associate Director. Haykala is a private equity firm which was formed by CIB and included partners such as Al Futtaim Capital and other high net worth individuals.
Mr. Bidair is a graduate of the CIB Credit Course which is based on the former Chase Manhattan Bank Credit Development program. Shokry holds a B.A in Business Administration from the American University in Cairo.
