Omar Adel
Mr. Adel joined Beltone Financial in January 2011 as Managing Director of Misr Beltone Asset Management and Head of Fixed Income and Money Market desks. Prior to joining Beltone, Mr. Adel headed the dealing room of Arab African International Bank (AAIB). Throughout the 15 years spent at AAIB, Mr. Adel was in charge of managing the local currency money market and primary dealer desks. Prior to that, he worked as FX & Money Market Trader. In his presence at AAIB, the bank assets grew from USD 800 million to USD 7billion and awarded “Best Bank in Egypt” 2008. Mr. Adel also launched AAIB’s first money market fund. Mr. Adel holds a Bachelor degree in Finance and Banking from Kuwait University.
