Wael Mahgary
Wael Mahgary, Head of Asset Management, joined Beltone Financial in 2003 to help position Beltone Financial as one of the region's leading investment banks. Mr. Mahgary was a portfolio manager at EFG-Hermes Asset Management from 2000 where his responsibilities included investing in Egypt; cash management of on- and off-shore funds; analysis of MENA banks and economies and setting country weights for regional funds. Mr. Mahgary served as an executive at the MM Group, one of the largest diversified business groups in Egypt, responsible for developing new trading partners in the USA, Europe and Africa. He was responsible for the MM Group's loans and credit lines as well as managing banking relationships. Mr. Mahgary graduated from the American University in Cairo in 1998 with BAs in Business Administration (highest honours) and Economics.
