Sherif El-Ghamrawi

Mr. El-Ghamrawi joined Beltone Private Equity in March 2006.

Prior to joining Beltone Private Equity, Mr. El-Ghamrawi spent five years with Kraft Foods Canada, a leading consumer packaging goods company. In this capacity, he was responsible for budgeting the company's foreign currency requirements, analyzing and estimating the impact of foreign exchange and commodities prices fluctuations on operations, and managing over $700 million in raw and packaging materials.

Mr. El-Ghamrawi's work experience includes providing strategic, financial, and business counsel to the Cereals and Confections Sales, Marketing, and Operations departments in addition to performing thorough analyses for all line extensions and new product launches. He has been involved in numerous strategic initiatives, including setting productivity targets, foreign exchange and commodities hedging operations, setting trade strategies, systems development and implementation, and redeployment of funds to ensure growth. Before Kraft Foods, Mr. El-Ghamrawi was employed at the Equity Research Division at EFG-Hermes, Egypt and was Assistant Financial Planner at Merrill Lynch, Hawaii, USA.
Mr. El-Ghamrawi holds an MBA with concentration in Finance from Hawaii Pacific University and a B.A. in Commerce from Cairo University.
