Mr. Hussein Abdel-Halim is responsible for managing the debt-side corporate finance activities of Beltone's Investment Banking Division. He has more than fifteen years of experience in research, sales, consulting, and advisory in a wide range of industries.
Mr. Abdel-Halim joined Beltone after more than two years with Cairo-based investment bank Naeem Holding, where he served as Managing Director of its Corporate Finance advisory subsidiary and managed transactions with a total value exceeding EGP 10 billion.
Mr. Abdel-Halim had joined Naeem after five-years with Cairo-based investment bank Sigma Capital, where he last served as co-head of its securities brokerage division. He had started with Sigma Capital as head of its research department.
Before joining Sigma Capital, Mr. Abdel-Halim headed the Research and Institutional Sales departments of National Securities, the brokerage arm of the National Bank of Egypt. In this capacity, he was assigned the establishment of the company's research department as well as overseeing relationships with large institutional clients.
Before joining National Securities, Mr. Abdel-Halim headed Business Development at Misr Petrochemicals & Engineering Consultants, representing foreign engineering firms active in fields varying from effluent treatment and petroleum refining to urban development.
