Mohamed Hassaan
Mohammed Hassaan is the Managing Director of Beltone Infrastructure, a joint venture between Beltone Financial and Mohamed Hassaan specialized in investment and consultancy in infrastructure projects. Hassaan has well rounded track record of over 25 years experience in finance which includes , Corporate Banking, Auditing , Treasury, Investment Banking and Corporate finance.
Hassaan started his career as an auditor at, Coopers & Lybrand before he started the Chase Manhattan Credit training program. He then worked at Chase National Bank of Egypt now referred to as CIB in the Corporate Banking division where he Managed the relationship of various high profile corporate clients including a number of the fortune 500 entities in Egypt.. He soon climbed up the corporate ladder quickly and held several senior managerial positions. Before leaving Chase National Bank of Egypt, Hassaan managed a 9 digit figure portfolio of loans and other debt instruments. Hassaan then joined HSBC where he managed their corporate banking division in 1988- 1989 where he was involved in expanding their corporate client portfolio and was involved in the syndication of several multi million dollar loans to high profile companies.
Hassaan then was appointed to hold the position of the regional finance manager ofAtlantic Industries , (The Coca-Cola Export Corporation), shortly after joining the company he was seconded to The Coca-Cola Bottling Companies of Egypt to participate in the mergers, acquisitions, privatization, and joint ventures, financial restructuring of The Coca-Cola Company in Egypt and thereafter he was appointed as Group Treasurer responsible for the Corporate Finance activities in all entities of which the Coca-Cola Company has equity interest in.
Before merging with Beltone Financial Hassaan managed his successful corporate finance consultancy boutique Hassaan Corporate Finance Consultancy which he established in 2000. Hassaan spearheaded many debt and equity transactions with reputable institutions such as Coca-Cola Egypt, he arranged the funding for Sokhna Port the first privately managed port in Egypt , and many other debt and equity transactions where he was involved in both Buyside and Sellside transactions.
