Menatalla Sadek, CFA, has a work experience that encompasses working in 3 countries with different first-tier organizations in Europe and the Middle East. Mena started her career working in the Corporate Banking department of Barclays Bank where she covered an important portfolio of medium and large Egyptian corporate clients. She was the Deputy Corporate Manager of Barclays' Corporate Banking Department based in Cairo, Egypt before moving to Stockholm, Sweden in 2003. There, Mena worked in the Corporate Rating Team of Standard & Poor's (S&P), covering a variety of Nordic and European companies. After being awarded the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation in 2004, Menatalla Sadek was a founding member of the CFA Society of Sweden, where she became Vice President and Chairman of the Education Committee. She played a pivotal role in developing awareness for the programme in the Nordic Region, as well as acting as a liaison for major Universities' collaborations in post-graduate programmes based on the CFA curriculum. Mena's professional experience also includes several teaching positions including a programme sponsored by the Chartered Institute of Bankers in Scotland. Ms Sadek holds a B.A. from the American University in Cairo (AUC) where she graduated with Highest Honours, majoring in Business Administration, concentration finance. Mena speaks fluent English, Arabic, Swedish and French.
