Ayman Waked
Mr. Ayman Waked joined Beltone Asset Management in 2008 as Head of Trading.
Prior to joining Beltone Financial, Mr. Waked held various posts at a number of prominent investment banks. He has more than a decade of experience in the field. His most recent three-year tenure at EFG-Hermes saw him take on the position of Chief Technical Analyst. Mr. Waked has also worked for SIGMA Capital and Momentum Wavers, as Chief Technical Analyst.
Mr. Waked is a Certified Financial Technician, CFTe and holds a Masters Degree in Financial Technical Analysis (MFTA) from the International Federation of Technical Analysts (IFTA). He has recently been elected vice president and board member at IFTA for the Middle East-Africa region. He was also the president of the Egyptian Society of Technical Analysts (ESTA) from 2002 to 2008.
Mr. Waked is an instructor at several institutions, including Cairo University (Faculty of Economics and Political Science), the American University in Cairo's Institute of Banking and Finance and the Egyptian Banking Institute. From 2006 to 2007, he was the technical analysis instructor for the Libyan Capital Market Authority. In addition, he has delivered several lectures and seminars throughout the region.
